On 24th may 7pm landmark book shop Chennai had arranged for story telling session by Jeffrey archer, readers were thrilled to see Jeffrey .The author’s speech was not only hilarious but also informative and thought provoking. Jeffrey Archer was here to promote his book “Prisoner of birth”; the readers had an interactive session with the ultimate story teller. Jeffery archer frankly spoke about his failures and success .He also said he was Member of Parliament in Britain before he started his writing career. Financial crisis made him to write his first not book “not a penny more not penny less” .Jeffrey was all praise full about R.K.Narayan’s malgudi days “he is a genius ”was his remark on the late Indian author .He made the gathering very interesting by commenting on the ongoing twenty - twenty matches and Indian traffic .During the question session the author answered if he was not in to writing then he would most likely would be Indian transport minister. All jokes apart, the author was critical about lack of education, our indifference towards politics. The author gave lots of tips for aspiring writers and Made an positive impact on the audience.
