The cost for the sports add-on package is just 30 bucks!! How big a cheapskate do you have to be to not spend 30 bucks on getting DVD quality picture and sound???

I mean thats less than what most people spend on ”chai-pani” or ”paan-gutkha-cigarettes” everyday!!! I got Tata Sky a month ago and I really cannot believe I even lived with cable... the service is phenomenal... the quality is awesome...

If you dont already own Tatasky you’re really in no place to comment about the quality of their service as opposed to cable or other DTH services...

Do you think DishTV slashed their set top box price just because they were selling like hot cakes??

Question is not about 30 Bucks. Its a question of indulging in bad business practices. While you boast of providing whole world entertainment at a cost effective rent per month at the launch of your service but you shift the gears once you have the masses believing you.
No doubt they have best in class infrastructure and services complimenting their brand but such mean practices will just make a place for the world leads in this business, which is none other than Ambani Bros, who has already taken Telecoms business by storm.

You seems to have missed the point completely,Its not the 30 bucks that matters,its the bad business proposal they have followed.I do own the tata sky connection for more than a year now babe,First when I bought it they told the golden member ship avails all channel for free but now the already free channels are turning in to pay channel.Yes the dvd quality is good,I enjoy them all .But that does not mean they can behave like a monopoly.The latest movies free in cable t.v.is payable it tata sky in same channels.As u are a new user you will understand what Iam trying to say in some time from now.
